First Landing State ParkSet amid the very land settled by English colonists in 1607, First Landing State Park provides a lovely natural landscape for hiking, swimming, boating, hunting, fishing and more. Enjoy recreational and educational activities, as you explore a maritime forest, lagoons, bald cypress swamps and rare flora and fauna. There are also a number of historical and educational exhibits available at the Chesapeake Bay Center located on the park grounds.
