ROCK ‘N’ ROLL VIRGINIA BEACH HALF MARATHON

Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series Virginia Beach will have you movin’ and groovin’ with endless ocean views, a trendy backdrop and tunes all weekend long provided by the largest outdoor music festival on the East Coast. Escape your routine and join us for a sandy staycation by the sea. We’re celebrating 20 years running with all new courses, an epic new finish line, and a beachy finish line festival for all ages.

BEACH MUSIC WEEKEND
September 10-12, 2021
Beach Music Weekend features bands on the beach with dancing under the stars for a jam-packed blast from the past! The top Beach Music bands from up and down the East Coast descend on the Virginia Beach oceanfront in a nostalgic salute to the “good old days” of hot tunes and cool times.

32 of the world’s most talented sculptors,  representing 11 different countries will create masterpieces in the sand.

The Family Great Adventure Movie Series, taking place weekly during the months of July and August, features a giant inflatable movie screen and state-of-the-art sound to present your family-friendly action films – right on the beach.

Live! on Atlantic – All Summer
Nightly entertainment throughout the season, from 7:00 pm – 11 pm. The concert series is always family-friendly, as the sidewalks along the boardwalk literally become the stage

The 4th of July weekend bursts on the scene with the sights and sounds of summer with free concerts on the oceanfront culminating with a fireworks display over the water!

Family Great Adventure Movie Series: Every Wednesday on the beach at 29th street.

Chalk The Walk: July 10 on the boardwalk from 16th-18th streets.
Chalk the Walk takes over the Virginia Beach Boardwalk from 10:00 am-5:00 pm on Saturday, July 10, 2021, as artists and “wanna-be artists” gather to turn the boardwalk into an impromptu canvas of color!

Live! on Atlantic – All Summer
Nightly entertainment throughout the season, from 7:00 pm – 11 pm. The concert series is always family-friendly, as the sidewalks along the boardwalk literally become the stage

Live! On Atlantic! is back! The popular entertainment series features live performances along the sidewalks and streets of Virginia Beach. Performers representing many genres of music, and other performers will create a fun surprise waiting around every corner. From 16th to 25th Streets along Atlantic Avenue, on 19th and 23rd Streets between Atlantic and Pacific, and in the parks at 17th Street and 24th Street, you’ll encounter free performances in the evenings that will help make your stay in Virginia Beach a memorable one!
